Salutations from the Snow

Well my dears, it's been some kind of weekend: as near as dammit snowed in and the milk levels running dangerously low for my preferred coffee intake. My supery-dupery red docs have kicked the snow out of the way as though it were nothing, and the cat has discovered a new warm-and-fluffy side that will vanish the minute the temperature gets above freezing.

The dog, meanwhile, is skipping joyously around, developing fetching white snow slippers upon his fluffy feet, whilst the hens puck alarmingly at the hen-house doorway and refuse to come out.



So, for the rest of this week I shall be mince-pie-making, paper-snowflake-creating, candle-lighting, and frosty-window-tracing my way through the days.

PoppyCorkHill has officially shut up shop for the rest of the year but I'll be back to it in the New Year with a sale, and details of the next vintage fair as soon as I can get them. A huge, huge thanks and slightly bottom-lip-wobbly gratitude for everyone who has supported, bought from, commented upon or just followed in a completely acceptable random fashion.
This year has been extraordinary, but you lot have made it all bearable.
